Job Overview
As Project Controls Analyst, you will serve as a trusted financial resource for construction projects and be the primary liaison between operations and corporate finance. This fast‑paced role covers financial reporting, compliance, and processing responsibilities for projects ranging in value from $20 million to $1 billion.
Responsibilities- Compile owner requisitions and process subcontractor requisitions and accounts payable.
- Purchase consumable materials and monitor equipment inventory.
- Manage field payroll and assist with project setup, closeout, and owner contract review.
- Administer lien waiver, insurance, and small business tracking.
- Support monthly financial forecasts and prepare monthly cost reports.
- Monitor key performance indicators and project cash‑flow forecasting.
- Reconcile change orders and lead contract administration activities.
- Facilitate project meetings and develop positive relationships with owners, engineers, and design firms.
- Lead training and development of project team members.
- Prepare and submit monthly job status reports outlining priorities and issues.
- Lead project close‑out, including turnover of manuals and warranties and final payment documents for subcontractors.
- Drive a safety culture on the project site and support new work acquisition through proposals and presentations.
- Proactively identify industry relationships generate and win right work.
- Recruit top industry talent and retain outstanding people.
- Exceed stakeholders’ expectations by anticipating their needs, desires, and goals.
- Preferred degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability of output.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- CPA or accounting experience.
- Experience with SAP, Textura, Coupa, or Google platforms a plus.
- Highly organized with strong time‑management skills.
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Comfortable with prolonged periods of focused desk work, and ability to move objects up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds on occasion. Travel to dynamic construction sites occasionally.
Work EnvironmentProfessional office environment with quiet‑to‑moderate noise levels. Safety policies and procedures must be followed at all sites.
