Job Overview
The University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) is recruiting a NCAR Services Coordinator to support the NCAR (Nevada Center of Applied Research). This role coordinates day-to‑day operations, connects industry partners with university facilities, resources, and expertise, and manages administrative, financial, and partnership activities that drive NCAR’s success.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary operational contact for affiliate companies utilizing NCAR facilities and services.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, facility access, space utilization, and operational logistics for industry partners.
- Administer agreements, compliance documentation, insurance records, and other operational requirements.
- Handle invoicing, billing, deposits, and routine financial activities associated with NCAR programs and services.
- Assist with sponsored project administration, contract tracking, and maintenance of program records and files.
- Support development and implementation of operational procedures and process improvements.
- Collect, maintain, and report operational data to support program assessment and institutional reporting.
- Connect industry partners with university resources, facilities, and research expertise.
- Assist with outreach activities, partnership development, and special projects that support NCAR growth and the university’s research enterprise.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of related work experience, or a Master’s Degree and at least 1 year of related work experience.
- Experience in laboratory and/or research facility management, or supporting multi‑disciplinary STEM programs or environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑disciplinary projects, logistics, and stakeholder communications.
Occasional travel may be required. Variable work schedule.

Administrative Faculty – Compensation Grade
B. Salary information can be found on the UNR Salary Schedule. Salary is competitive and commensurate with related education and experience.
