Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Owners EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) Representative located in Reno, NV. In this role, the candidate will focus on ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of large-scale construction projects. Tasks include conducting safety inspections, managing EHS documentation, providing guidance on safety protocols, and driving initiatives to promote a culture of workplace safety.
The Representative will collaborate closely with construction teams, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to mitigate risks and maintain compliance.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices
- Experience with auditing, inspections, and EHS compliance processes
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective EHS programs and initiatives
- Experience working in the construction or related industries
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for EHS reporting and analysis
- Certifications such as OSHA 30 or equivalent are highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field is preferred
- Flexibility to work in an on-site environment and respond to safety-related needs promptly
