Construction Superintendent

Trailhead Recruiting is currently looking for a Construction Superintendent for our clients based locally in the greater Reno/Sparks/Tahoe area.

This Construction Superintendent will oversee and manage commercial construction projects in the greater Reno area. The Superintendent will be responsible for the successful on-site execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commercial construction, strong leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of local building regulations and safety standards.

• Lead day-to-day site operations for commercial construction projects
• Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, schedules, and safety protocols
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and construction workers on-site
• Communicate project progress with clients and project managers
• Maintain accurate cost and production records
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
• Participate in weekly scheduling and management meetings with trade partners
• Maintain accurate project records, including daily logs, material deliveries, and site conditions.
• Review and approve timesheets, subcontractor invoices, and material purchase orders.

• 3-5+ years of experience in commercial construction.
• Strong project management and communication skills
