Airport Program Administrator - Construction Project Manager

Position Summary

The Clark County Department of Aviation is looking for an Airport Program Administrator – Construction Project Manager who will oversee multiple construction projects, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery while maintaining compliance with contract documents and federal, state, and local regulations.

• Provide project oversight and technical assistance throughout the construction phase.
• Administer construction and professional service agreements and direct vendor work.
• Review construction schedules and cost estimates, ensuring adherence to approved scope.
• Assist in constructability review, phasing, and work sequencing during the design phase.
• Support the bidding process by answering contractor questions.
• Collaborate with the Senior Program Administrator on process improvement and standardization within the Construction and Design division.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum four (4) years of full‑time related professional experience at a similar level.
• Experience managing construction projects, evaluating schedules and cost estimates.
• Strong organizational, communication, and vendor management skills.

• Valid Nevada Class C driver’s license (required for certain positions).
• Security Awareness and NCIC/NCJIS certification within six (6) months of hire; annual recertification required.
• Successful pre‑employment drug testing, background investigation, and FBI fingerprint record check.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Permanent employees must reside within Clark County boundaries.
