Asphalt Raker - Reno

An Asphalt Raker, also known as a Asphalt Laborer or Rakerman, plays a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of parking lots, and other asphalt surfaces. This position involves working closely with the asphalt paving crew to ensure a smooth and even surface is achieved. The primary responsibility of an Asphalt Raker is to distribute and level asphalt materials using a rake, shovel, and other hand tools.

This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Distribution:
  Distribute hot or cold asphalt materials evenly across surfaces using a rake or shovel.
• Surface Leveling:
  Ensure that the asphalt surface is smooth and level by raking and spreading materials appropriately.

  Work closely with the asphalt paving crew, equipment operators, and other team members to achieve project goals.

Requirements:
