Student Worker- Brushfire Editor

Position:
Editor – Brushfire Literature & Arts Journal

Student-run organization at UNR;
Editor works with faculty and volunteers to produce two journals per year.

• Review literature and art submissions and communicate with authors/artists.
• Copyedit selected prose, poetry, and written content.
• Collaborate with other editors to revise and finalize journal proof.
• Attend weekly staff meetings.

• Current student of the University of Nevada, Reno, with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience/knowledge in the respective art field.
• Good understanding of English mechanics.
• Availability to work 10–13 hours per week.

$12.00 per hour; part-time (10–13 hours per week).
