Creative Content Coordinator – Nevada Athletics
Nevada Athletics is recruiting for a Creative Content Coordinator. This position is primarily responsible for sharing the story of Nevada Athletics by creating compelling video, graphic and/or social media content that drives engagement, attendance and revenue, and positively impacts the recruitment and retention of elite student‑athletes.
Key Duties- Operate cameras, stabilizers, drones (optional), and audio equipment.
- Work closely with coaches to understand key plays, athletes, and storylines.
- Edit footage into compelling content such as Reels, Tik Tok, Shorts, hype videos, and player spotlight features.
- Ensure all edits meet the team’s branding, pacing, and style guidelines.
- Manage media storage, archiving, and organization of assets.
- Design collateral materials that support marketing, recruiting, and revenue generation.
- Collaborate with the creative services and strategic communications teams to create and execute content calendars.
- Deliver timely in‑game or same‑day social media edits when needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least two years of related work experience;
- or Master’s Degree and at least one year of related work experience.
- Experience in videography, video production, video editing, graphic design, photography, social media, marketing, or related fields.
Salary: $50,000 per year. Additional benefits include generous health insurance (including dental and vision), annual and sick leave, life insurance, and the university’s retirement plan with a 19.25% contribution matched by the University and 100% vesting on the first day.
