Interior Designer Manager (FF&E Focus)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer Manager to lead the firm's FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) efforts across multiple project types. This role is ideal for a highly organized, design-oriented professional who excels in both creative direction and technical execution.

The Interior Designer Manager will oversee FF&E strategy from concept through installation, collaborate closely with architects and clients, and ensure design intent is maintained across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage FF&E design, specification, procurement, and installation across multiple projects
  • Develop cohesive interior design concepts aligned with architectural vision and client goals
  • Produce and review finish palettes, material boards, and FF&E packages
  • Manage vendor relationships, pricing, and product sourcing
  • Coordinate FF&E budgets, schedules, and procurement timelines
  • Oversee documentation and integration of interior design packages into Revit-based project workflows
  • Collaborate with project architects, consultants, and clients throughout all project phases
  • Conduct site visits and support installation to ensure quality and design consistency

Qualifications
  • Minimum 10+ years of professional interior design experience
    , with leadership responsibilities
  • Proven experience managing FF&E programs from concept through installation
  • Strong proficiency in Revit (required)
  • NCIDQ certification preferred
    , but not required
  • Demonstrated experience working across multiple project types (civic, education, healthcare, or commercial preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of materials, specifications, building codes, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a collaborative team environment
