Principal Architect

Focus:

  • Provide architectural leadership throughout all phases of project delivery, from early planning through construction completion.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients while fostering strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality architectural solutions that meet design, budget, and schedule objectives.
  • Mentor architects, designers, and technical staff, supporting professional development and promoting design excellence.
  • Review project documentation to ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, operational improvements, and business development initiatives that support continued organizational growth.
  • Support the successful execution of multiple projects while maintaining exceptional client service and project performance.

Skill Set:

  • Registered Architect (RA) license required.
  • Approximately 10 or more years of progressive architectural experience, including leadership of complex building projects.
  • Demonstrated success managing project teams while mentoring developing professionals.
  • Previous experience with K-12 educational facilities is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, construction documentation, construction administration, and consultant coordination.
  • Proficiency with Revit and other industry-standard architectural design software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to balance technical excellence with strong client relationship management.
