Principal Architect
Our client is an established and highly respected architecture and design firm seeking a Principal Architect to join its leadership team during an exciting period of growth. Focus:
- Provide architectural leadership throughout all phases of project delivery, from early planning through construction completion.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients while fostering strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality architectural solutions that meet design, budget, and schedule objectives.
- Mentor architects, designers, and technical staff, supporting professional development and promoting design excellence.
- Review project documentation to ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
- Contribute to strategic planning, operational improvements, and business development initiatives that support continued organizational growth.
- Support the successful execution of multiple projects while maintaining exceptional client service and project performance.
Skill Set:
- Registered Architect (RA) license required.
- Approximately 10 or more years of progressive architectural experience, including leadership of complex building projects.
- Demonstrated success managing project teams while mentoring developing professionals.
- Previous experience with K-12 educational facilities is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of project planning, construction documentation, construction administration, and consultant coordination.
- Proficiency with Revit and other industry-standard architectural design software.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance technical excellence with strong client relationship management.
