Family Medicine Physician
The Family Medicine Physician provides comprehensive primary care in an outpatient setting, focusing on patient-centered, evidence-based approaches aligned with FQHC standards, HRSA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Deliver direct clinical care, including assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up for patients of all ages.
- Perform preventive services such as exams, immunizations, screenings, and women’s health education.
- Manage chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, and coordinate care with specialists.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and document encounters in EMR.
- Participate in quality improvement, supervise clinical staff, and support compliance with healthcare standards.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, providing culturally competent care to diverse populations.
MD or DO from an accredited school, residency training, and board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine. Active licensing, DEA registration, and BLS are required, with preferred experience in outpatient or underserved settings. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and cultural competence are essential.
