Orthopedic Surgeon – Board Eligible/Board Certified

Renown Health and the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) are recruiting an Orthopedic Surgeon to join our new Orthopedic division within the Department of Surgery.

• Perform adult orthopedic surgeries, prioritizing big joint and arthroscopic procedures.
• Treat patients ages 18 and older, collaborating with Pediatric and Surgical Oncology Orthopedic Surgeons.
• Teach and mentor residents and students in a collaborative, academic, patient‑centered environment.
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.

• Board Eligible or Board Certified from the ABOS or AOBOS.
• Completed a 5‑year Orthopedic Surgery Residency.
• Optional 1+ year fellowship in a subspecialty.
• Completed an accredited Orthopedic Residency Program.

• Work in a new dedicated Orthopedic Care location with strong multidisciplinary support.
• Appointment‑Based Provider (APP) surgery assist support for every surgery.
• Efficient ancillary staff—PARs, MA, Surgery Schedulers.
• 28 OR suites.
• Epic EMR use.
