A premier lifestyle, hospitality, and entertainment organization is seeking an experienced Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) to serve as Medical Director for its employer-sponsored health clinic in Reno, NV. This is an outstanding opportunity for a physician who is passionate about preventive medicine, relationship-based care, and improving patient outcomes in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

About the Role

The Medical Director will provide comprehensive primary care services while helping lead clinical operations and support a high-performing healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform annual physicals, wellness visits, and preventive health screenings
  • Diagnose, evaluate, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other procedures
  • Prescribe medications and educate patients regarding treatment plans, risks, and expected outcomes
  • Provide patient education focused on wellness, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Coordinate care with specialists and make referrals when appropriate
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the healthcare team
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
  • Active and unrestricted Nevada medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority
  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience preferred
  • Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, or Primary Care strongly preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership experience or prior Medical Director experience is a plus
