Part‑Time Faculty – Physical Education
Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) seeks qualified Part‑Time Faculty to teach courses in physical education for the Department of EPIC. The college welcomes qualified applicants from all backgrounds for temporary part‑time teaching assignments.
Responsibilities- Teach course content under supervision of the Department Chair.
- Assess student learning.
- Stay current in the teaching field.
- Refer students to supportive college resources.
- Complete professional development.
- Use current technology.
- Maintain appropriate standards of ethics and professional conduct.
- CPR/AED certification.
- Personal Trainer certification preferred.
- Minimum of two years related experience.
- Desire to work with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
- Teaching experience or ability to teach PE courses across 100‑ to 400‑level courses.
- Paid orientation and professional development training.
- Tuition reimbursement through Grant‑in‑Aid.

Part‑Time Faculty are paid $1,050 per credit for 100‑ and 200‑level courses, and $1,150 per credit for 300‑ and 400‑level courses.
