The City of Reno is accepting applications for various Youth part-time positions. Salaries and hours vary by position and may include evenings, weekends and holidays. Positions will remain open until filled; apply early.
Available Positions- Youth Activity Lead ($16.75–$18.75/hour)
- Youth Activity Site Attendant III ($15–$16.50/hour)
- Youth Activity Site Attendant II ($13–$14.25/hour)
Note:
Some positions may have a higher age requirement than 15 and require additional certifications for employment.
Independently lead program curriculum and administrative projects.
Facilitate program direction and supervise junior staff.
Monitor and enforce policies, rules, and safety regulations governing the conduct of patrons and staff.
Qualifications- Age: 18
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent - Experience:
Six months paid experience leading recreation programs or similar work
Independently leads participants in activities and/or may monitor activities led by other staff.
Communicates with patrons in alignment with Youth program standards.
May perform higher-level clerical functions such as drafting incident reports and maintaining documentation.
Qualifications- Age: 16
- Education:
One year of high school - Experience:
Six months paid experience leading recreation programs or similar work
Leads participants in activities and directs facility use as assigned.
Qualifications- Age: 15
