Definition
The Nevada Pyramid Model Partnership Coordinator's primary function is to provide leadership, coordination, supervision, technical assistance, training, and evaluation support for Nevada Pyramid Model Partnership activities within a region (southern Nevada or northern Nevada). The Coordinator is responsible for guiding implementation fidelity, supporting and supervision regional staff, analyzing program data to inform continuous quality improvement, and collaborating with partners and stakeholders to advance Pyramid Model outcomes across Nevada.

Duties
- Stay abreast of the latest data and research as it relates to early childhood, childcare workforce and the Pyramid Model.
- Ensures that all services, curriculum and resources used/developed meet latest research and best practices.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager to monitor program expenses, identify resource needs, and ensure program activities are implemented within approved budget.
- Ensures that specific grant and reporting requirements are met.
- Establishes priorities, timelines, and work plans to support achievement of program goals and grant objectives to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
- Provides day-to-day supervision, guidance, coaching, and support to assigned specialists.
- Monitors staff performance, workload distribution, and service quality to ensure staff meet program outcomes and understand agency policies.
- Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with implementation sites, community partners, state leadership teams, regional coordinators, stakeholders, and agency staff to support successful Pyramid Model implementation and statewide alignment.
- Provides initial contact with interested sites in a timely manner and manages active program waitlist.
- Provides on-site training and technical assistance to Implementation and Demonstration sites.
- Participates on the NPMP State Leadership Team and attends required meetings and other events.
- Facilitates monthly training and coaching subcommittee meeting.
- Maintains provider files, inputs information in applicable data systems, generates reports, and carries out other data-related activities.
- Reviews program data to ensure accuracy and completeness, and identify program trends, service gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Analyzes, summarizes, and presents program data to implementation sites, stakeholders, and agency leadership to support decision making and continuous quality improvement.
- Provides training and/or technical assistance to sites as needed on data collection responsibilities.
- Ensures program activities align with The Children's Cabinet mission, strategic priorities, values, and grant objectives. Actively contributes to agency-wide goals through collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Read, understand, and apply all agency and department policies and procedures set forth in both the Agency Handbook and CCR&R Program Manual.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Needed
Knowledge of:
- Early childhood education principles and practices, specifically the Pyramid Model for promoting social emotional competence in infants and young children and addressing challenging behavior.
- Best practices and current research in achieving high-quality childcare.
- Childcare licensing regulations statewide.
- Adult learning styles
- Computer programs including Google Forms/Drives, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, data base programs, etc., and the desire to learn new programs.
Ability To
- Communicate clearly and concisely both in writing and verbally.
- Lead and support the work of others through coaching, accountability, and performance feedback.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to guide decision-making and program improvement.
- Identify problems, evaluation options, and implement effective solutions.
- Facilitate meetings, trainings, and collaborative discussions with diverse audiences.
- Be organized and use effective time management.
- Use outstanding customer service skills.
- Work with adults of diverse backgrounds and beliefs and adapt service delivery accordingly.
- Work collaboratively with staff and community agencies.
Special Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or closely related field preferred, however a combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- Must at least meet level 4.2 on the NV Registry career ladder which requires at least an AA degree in ECE or AA degree in another field with 30 or more ECE college credits.
- At least three years of experience in Early Childhood Education.
- Must possess reliable transportation to get to and from work.
