Teaching Assistant Professor; Lecturer II Rangeland Ecology

The Department of Agriculture, Veterinary and Rangeland Sciences (AVRS) at the University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for a non-tenure track Teaching Assistant Professor (Lecturer II) position starting January 1, 2026. This position will be an integral component of the University of Nevada, Reno and the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources (CABNR).

Teaching responsibilities include instruction in both introductory and advanced undergraduate courses, as well as mentoring of undergraduate students enrolled in the Agriculture, Veterinary and Rangeland Science majors.

Applicants should demonstrate strong evidence of effective teaching, curriculum development (including hybrid: asynchronous online combined with in-person) and advising/mentorship of undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds.
