Lead Teacher

Kinder Care is seeking a Lead Teacher for CAS Elementary School to guide students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this role, you will design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons, manage a nurturing and inclusive classroom, and ensure a safe, well-organized learning environment. You will assess student progress, adapt instruction for diverse learners, and communicate regularly with families. As part of Kinder Care's collaborative culture, you will mentor support staff, participate in professional development, and help shape impactful early education experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily classroom instruction for elementary-age students using age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with learning standards and child development best practices.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that supports social-emotional growth.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Communicate regularly with families about student development, progress, and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with school leadership and teaching staff to support school-wide initiatives and enrichment programs.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and incident reports.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and licensing regulations within the classroom.
• Mentor assistant teachers and support staff, modeling best practices in instruction and care.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to continuous improvement of curriculum and center practices.
