Job DescriptionThe University of Nevada, Reno is seeking an Assistant Director, Housing Operations & Outreach to help shape the residential experience for thousands of students. As a key member of the Residential Life, Housing, and Food Services management team, you’ll lead the customer-facing heartbeat of campus housing from residence hall front desks to the main housing office. You’ll set the tone for hospitality and service excellence, oversee dynamic outreach initiatives and housing tours that welcome new Wolf Pack families to campus, and serve as the go-to expert for the systems and software that keep front desk operations running smoothly.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll train and empower staff, ensure data is managed securely, and directly shape how students experience their first and every interaction with Housing.

Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of related work experience OR
Master’s Degree and one (1) year of related work experience

Experience:
Student housing administration or comparable higher education experience or related.
Maintains full-time office hours to include evening/weekend hours for programs and training.
May be asked to travel to regional and national conferences
Compensation GradeAdministrative Faculty – B
Candidates will be hired at the level that is comparable to their experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
