The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking an Assistant Director, Business Operations and Food Services to join Residential Life, Housing and Food Services and help shape the student experience through dining, business operations, marketing, and summer guest housing programs.

• Provide direct oversight of the University’s preferred dining contract and ensure vendors meet contractual expectations
• Support and oversee staff involved in marketing and summer guest housing programs
• Manage and monitor budgets, purchasing processes, reports, and business operations
• Oversee databases, reporting, updates, and staff training
• Develop effective relationships with campus partners, students, faculty, staff, and external vendors
• Interpret and apply university policies, procedures, purchasing requirements, and regulations
• Provide supervision, mentoring, and support to staff while helping projects move forward efficiently

Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of related work experience OR Master’s Degree and one (1) year of related work experience Related

Experience:

Contract oversight, marketing strategy and customer service or related experience.

Occasional travel
