Overview

This position is responsible for developing testing plans, evaluating, and testing LNW's electronic gaming machines (EGMs) software to ensure it meets functional requirements, technical standards, market requirements, and maintain overall high-quality products. Interface with software development, game/OS SQAs around the globe.
Responsibilities- Develops and executes software test plans to ensure functional design requirements, regulatory requirements, and technical standards are met.
- Log defects and report status to test lead.
- Mentor and train junior test engineers.
- Work closely with other teams to ensure products are released on schedule with quality.
- Total 2-4 years of experience in manual testing and different testing methodologies
- Experience in different types of testing (Functional, Regression, Performance, Sanity, etc.)
- Experience with JIRA and qTest tools is a plus
- Well versed with software development and software test life cycle
- Gaming domain knowledge and experience in OS testing is a plus
- Knowledge in serial communication protocols, XML, SOAP is a plus
- Knowledge in TCP/IP networking is a plus
- Experience with slot machine communication protocols such as SAS, QCOM, X-Series, ASP, and G2S is a plus
- Experience with third-party slot accounting host systems/applications is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
