Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join the Data Power and Control Team in Reno, NV.

• Assist engineers as they create, modify, and test electrical circuits, and power distribution products.
• Perform research and development during the creation phase of a product.
• Inspect products for flaws and identify areas of improvement.
• Conduct tests and collect data using electronic test equipment.
• Assist in product design, development, and production.
• Build and test prototype circuits.
• Prepare and conduct experiments.
• Calculate or record results during experiments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Associate of Science Degree with minimum 2 years of engineering experience (or equivalent experience). Current junior status working toward a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

Engineering Technician experience in a large volume production environment, preferred.

• Ability to use electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, electronic loads, meters, function generators, etc.
• Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work on live high‑voltage circuits.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently.
