As a Design‑Build Drainage Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team, you will help grow one of the Mountain West region’s leading Design‑Build teams. We partner with local and national contractors to provide clients with innovative solutions that drive projects to success.
Our goal is to deliver value‑added designs that support our clients’ overall project objectives.
- Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation (freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural highways, and shared use facilities) DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
- Coordinate with other discipline leads.
- Be an integral member of the project delivery team.
- Lead drainage/hydraulic design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
- Possess knowledge and experience with Microstation, Open Roads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable software common to transportation drainage engineering.
- Work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
- Be willing and able to be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region‑wide projects.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff, and management.
- Have a proven history of meeting project deadlines.
- Desire to grow personally and professionally with each project while working in a team environment to create designs and drawings that support our client’s overall project goals.
- Current PE license, preferred state(s): UT, NV, AZ, , CO, NM, WA.
- 10+ years of leading drainage design for infrastructure projects.
- 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
- Must be able to work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
- Outstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels.
- Organized and detail‑oriented.
