Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer | Temp-to-Hire | Industrial / EPC Projects

I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to support large-scale industrial and EPC project work.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity and candidates must be comfortable working on-site during the temporary period, with the ability to relocate full‑time if the role converts into a permanent offer.

You will support the design, coordination and delivery of mechanical systems across complex industrial and facility‑based projects, working closely with engineering, construction, procurement and project teams.

• Support mechanical design from concept through construction
• Work across mechanical systems, equipment layouts, piping, utilities and process‑related scopes
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Coordinate with electrical, civil, structural, architectural and construction teams
• Support field issue resolution, RFIs, submittals and construction administration
• Assist with equipment selection, vendor coordination and technical bid reviews
• Ensure work is delivered in line with applicable codes, standards and project requirements
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning and turnover

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience with in industrial, manufacturing, EPC, heavy commercial or process environments
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, piping or utilities
• Ability to read and review technical drawings and specifications
• Experience supporting projects through design and construction phases
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with field/construction teams
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced project environment
