Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a small team of mechanical engineers while actively contributing to mechanical design and manufacturing engineering efforts. This role is ideal for a technically strong leader who enjoys balancing people management with direct engineering work.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Lead and develop a small team of mechanical engineers supporting product design and electromechanical assembly

* Act as a working manager, performing hands-on mechanical design and engineering

* Drive design for manufacturability (DFM/DFA) across injection molded, sheet metal, machined, and cast components

* Develop should-cost models and partner with supply chain and non-franchised buyers to support supplier negotiations

* Apply industrial and manufacturing engineering principles to support in-house production line development

* Support electromechanical integration, prototyping, and production troubleshooting

* Ensure disciplined use of PLM systems, revision control, and engineering change management

What We Are Looking For :

* 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience, including leadership or management responsibilities

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

* Strong hands-on mechanical design background

* Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers

* Experience working with suppliers, sourcing, and cost optimization

* Working knowledge of PLM systems, revision control, and change control processes

Hybrid schedule - preferred locations are Phoenix Sky Harbor Office or Denver Panorama Office
