Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an RMA Shipping Clerk to join the Data Center Power and Control Team in Reno, NV. This role incorporates the responsibilities of a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Specialist, including assisting technical support with shipping and receiving, preparing customer orders, and verifying shipping orders against customer RMA orders. The primary focus will be on Raritan’s RMA processing for a wide assortment of Legrand hardware products.
WhatWill You Do?
- Perform RMA receiving and inspections of products.
- Receive returned products, accepting and inspecting for damage, defects, or discrepancies; log details in inventory systems (SAP).
- Coordinate repairs or replacements with relevant departments and track repair processes.
- Update and maintain technical support and stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory records.
- Communicate with the team and customers about RMA status, return instructions, and shipment tracking.
- Handle shipping logistics for returned items, including preparing RMA shipments.
- Ensure compliance with company return policies, warranty terms, and RMA guidelines.
High School Diploma & College or Electrical Degree or equivalent combination of education and five years work experience in the Electrical Industry.
Experience:- Demonstrated knowledge of AC/DC power circuitry.
- Demonstrated ability to use electronic equipment for basic troubleshooting.
- Experience with SAP or ERP Systems:
Proficiency in using SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for inventory management, RMA processing, and shipment tracking. - Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving Procedures:
Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and return processes, including domestic and international shipping. - Inventory Management
Skills:
Experience in handling inventory tracking and maintaining stock levels in inventory systems. - Attention to Detail and Documentation
Skills:
Ability to maintain accurate records for returns, shipping labels, packing slips, and invoices. - Customer Service
Skills:
Experience in dealing with customers, providing clear instructions, and resolving disputes related to product returns or shipping.
- Problem‑Solving Ability:
Ability to assess and resolve issues with returned items efficiently. - Organizational
Skills:
Capable of handling multiple RMA requests, maintaining accurate records, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely processing. - Time Management:
Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. - Adaptability:
Flexibility to handle evolving processes, new software tools, and changes in RMA or shipping protocols.
