MEP Assistant Superintendent

About the Role

We are looking for an MEP Assistant Superintendent to join our MEP team on our project in Reno, NV. This is a full-time, in-person position. The role is critical to ensuring successful coordination and installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and special systems on complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee and coordinate all MEP systems installation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

* Provide leadership and oversight to MEP trade partners and equipment vendors throughout all phases of construction.

* Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring QA/QC programs, and supporting the Energy Control and Safety Program.

* Manage punch lists, troubleshoot field engineering issues, and ensure timely resolution of challenges using available resources.

* Support start-up and commissioning activities, ensuring systems are fully operational and meet performance requirements.

* Collaborate with project teams from pre-construction through commissioning and close-out to ensure seamless delivery.

* Maintain strong relationships with clients, design partners, and trade partners to foster collaboration and project success.

Qualifications

Required:

* 5+ years of commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated MEP systems.

* Proven ability to manage workforce requirements, monitor project progress, and resolve technical challenges.

* Experience managing construction of complex MEP infrastructure projects such as data centers, airports, or other special-use facilities.

* Strong communication and leadership skills for managing client and trade partner relationships.

Preferred:

* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

* Familiarity with scheduling tools, QA/QC processes, and commissioning protocols.

* Knowledge of safety programs and energy control procedures.
