Within our Civil Engineering practice, we are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and support a wide variety of civil engineering projects across multiple sectors, including transportation, water/wastewater, community infrastructure, stormwater, and private development. Opportunities are available in Northern Nevada, Northern California, and Southern Idaho offices.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from planning through design and construction.
- Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high‑quality results.
- Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and project partners.
- Provide technical oversight and QA/QC review.
- Mentor and support early‑career staff and project engineers.
- Assist with business development, including proposals and client relationship management.
- Water distribution and wastewater systems (preferred)
- Stormwater and drainage infrastructure
- Municipal and public works projects
- Transportation‑related projects, including trails, roadway rehabilitation, and new roadway design
- Land development and site design for private development and public/institutional projects
- Work on a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects.
- Collaborate with municipalities, developers, and regulatory agencies.

- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects.
- Solid communication skills, including client interaction and public presentations.
- Experience developing project budgets and managing financial performance.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead and mentor teams.
- Experience delivering projects within one or more core market sectors, including transportation, water/wastewater, community infrastructure, stormwater, and private development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive, relevant engineering and project management experience.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in California (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe).
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Valid driver license and driving record with 3 or fewer demerit points.
