Environmental Compliance Project Manager

End Date: 12 Months with possible extension

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Project Manager to join our Infrastructure team, focusing on hyperscale data center construction projects
. This role ensures environmental permit compliance during construction and supports seamless turnover to operations. You will manage environmental compliance strategies, oversee consultants, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure adherence to all Federal, State, and local environmental regulations and permit requirements.

• Drive compliance with environmental permits during construction phases
• Manage consultants for site inspections, reporting, and agency coordination
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks related to stormwater, wetlands, endangered species, cultural resources, air quality, etc.
• Support regulatory engagement and community outreach
• Oversee environmental compliance planning for pre-construction and operational turnover
• Communicate environmental requirements to diverse stakeholders

10+ years of experience in environmental compliance and permitting

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Civil/Chemical Engineering, or related field

Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams

Expertise in environmental permitting programs (CWA 404/401, stormwater, SPCC, RCRA, air quality, endangered species)

Experience with large-scale construction or mission-critical facilities (hyperscale data centers preferred)

• 5+ years in environmental permitting/compliance across multiple markets
• 5+ years in program/project management, including consultant oversight
• Experience with hyperscale data center or large-scale construction projects
