Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Field Technician to join our team. The position involves working in pairs to conduct field tests, operating 4x4 company vehicles in remote areas, and using specialized equipment to gather and upload data daily.

Responsibilities

+ Perform vehicle maintenance, including checking fluids, fueling, maintaining tire pressure, and keeping the vehicle clean.

+ Monitor multiple screens with various data, including GPS.

+ Collect and report back on satellite data through coverage testing.

+ Conduct instrument checks on vehicles and test equipment.

+ Program both portable and mobile radios.

+ Install and remove RF components, charge and swap radio batteries as needed.

+ Monitor low voltage DC systems.

Qualifications

+

Experience with troubleshooting and repair of electronic or electro-mechanical equipment

+

Experience with radio, rf, or communication systems preferred

+

Experience with field service or travel to customer sites

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reno, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
