We are SLR Consulting (US), a 500+ coast-to-coast team of advisory, environmental/engineering, and regulatory professionals. We deliver environmental and sustainability services to clients through the integration of over 30 advisory, technical environmental, and engineering disciplines. As a Civil Engineer, you will play an important role on a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Nevada, or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Working knowledge of Engineering software including, but not limited to:
  Civil Design & Grading (Civil 3D).
• Specialty software depending on area of specialization:
  Hydrology & Hydraulics (HEC HMS, HEC RAS) or Geotechnical Design (Geo Studio, Rocscience).
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel by car and airplane, including travel for domestic projects.

• M.Sc. preferred.
• Willingness to travel for international projects.

• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.
• Ability to learn new engineering topics and software quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a team environment.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Needs little oversight, can be a self-starter.
• Thinks and plans ahead.
• Willingly accepts assigned tasks (“can-do / will-do”) with initiative to take on more.

• Lead and take professional ownership of projects in a technical capacity.
• Perform engineering work for industrial and mining projects.
• Visit project sites for the purpose of data collection and monitoring, performing investigations and/or performing construction inspection services.
• Utilize a variety of computer programs including AutoCAD Civil 3D software and software noted above to undertake designs and computations.
• Write memos and calculation packages to document work performed.
