Application Engineer
Volt is immediately hiring for Application Engineer in Reno, Nevada 89506.
As an Application Engineer you will:
- Work with drafters, engineers, and supervisors to produce the required documentation for customer orders or quotes.
- Create drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of material.
- Send drawings for approval, release order package to production, produce NMRs
- Check drawings and BOM produced by others.
- Ensure application designs meet applicable standards and codes.
- Work with the quotations group, sales group, and/or customers to choose the proper products to meet the customer's needs.
- Provide support to manufacturing regarding application engineering designs.
- Provide electrical support and guidance to Drafters and Designers
This is a full time, contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience in motor control design, switch gear or switch racks
- Hazardous location standards NEC/CEC/IEC/ATEX
- Hands-on Electrical testing
Pay Range: $34.00 - $36.92 per hour
* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
