HSE Intern; Summer

Responsibilities

• You will ensure that all requirements of Valeo Group are identified, established and implemented.
• You will carry out risk analysis and monitor regulatory survey.
• You will carry out inspections and internal audits, make recommendations and specify corresponding actions as well as the responsibility for implementing it.
• You will assist in implementing and monitoring action relating to the handling of any non‑compliance revealed by the inspections, internal audits and external audits, taking the necessary investments into account.
• You will update and complete Safety Data sheets, plus ergonomic and PPE assessments.
• You will review and update Safety and Environmental work instructions.

• You should be a current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an environmental or occupational safety related field (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field) OR a recent graduate in April or May 2025 from one of these programs.
• You preferably have completed classes in equipment lockout/tagout, chemical safety, and OSHA/EPA.
