Job Title:
Mechanical Design Engineer
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing a diverse range of products, from camera mounts to cellular and electronic mounts, primarily used in vehicles. This role requires addressing critical aspects such as cost, reducibility, quality, performance, reliability, serviceability, and user features. You will engage in hands‑on tasks, potentially operating equipment like lathes and drill presses.
Responsibilities- Design and develop products for vehicle use, including camera and electronic mounts.
- Address cost, quality, performance, and reliability issues in product development.
- Ensure the serviceability and user features of the products are maintained.
- Engage in hands‑on tasks, utilizing equipment such as lathes and drill presses.
- Collaborate closely with the owner, following guidance and instructions effectively.
- Mechanical Engineering degree.
- 4-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or design.
- Proficiency in Solid Works.
- Experience in the aerospace industry.
- Ability to manage projects and teams effectively.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with mechanical design processes.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reno, NV.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.86 - $40.86/hr.
