Overview
Mechanical Data Center Technician/ Commissioning Agent
My client is heavily involved in the new construction of data centers. They are actively seeking a Mechanical Data Center Technician with Commissioning experience. Someone familiar with chillers, commissioning and software systems related to HVAC.
Responsibilities- Perform commissioning inspections, utilizing checklists or forms in the quality control software system. Inspections shall be performed at major milestones as requested by the PM. Inspection criteria include adherence to the project specifications and submittals, as well as applicable codes and standards.
- Assist in tracking and resolving open issues as needed.
- Knowledge of the applicable project documents relating to the mechanical systems required to be commissioned is a plus.
- Ability to commit to 100% travel.
- Prioritize effectively, have good follow-through, and practice self-implemented quality control measures.
- Ability to communicate well in writing, as well as verbally.
- A desire to develop their knowledge and grow.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Certificate/Diploma from an accredited trade school or county.
