Salary: $80,000–$95,000
Position OverviewSeeking a Civil Engineer with land development experience to support the planning, design, and delivery of commercial, residential, and mixed-use site development projects. This role involves civil design, drainage analysis, grading, utility design, and coordination with project teams and agencies.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare civil engineering designs for land development projects. Develop grading, drainage, utility, and stormwater plans. Perform engineering calculations and technical analysis. Prepare construction plans, specifications, reports, and permit documents. Coordinate with clients, agencies, and internal project teams. Review plans and technical documents for quality and accuracy. Conduct occasional site visits and field investigations. Assist in resolving design and construction issues.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. 3+ years of civil engineering experience (land development preferred). EIT required or actively pursuing PE preferred. Experience with site grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Experience with hydrology/hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, PCSWMM or similar) preferred. Ability to read and prepare construction plans and technical reports. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Preferred ExperienceLand/site development projects. Drainage and detention basin design. Storm drain modeling and hydrologic calculations. Zoning, permitting, and development review processes.
