HSE Intern (Summer 2026

About the Role

As an HSE Intern, you will assist with checking that safety and security equipment are in compliance with requirements and help establish the site “Health, Safety, Security and Environment” operation procedures and oversee their application.

• Ensure all requirements of Valeo Group are identified, established and implemented.
• Carry out risk analysis and monitor regulatory survey.
• Conduct inspections and internal audits, make recommendations and specify corresponding actions as well as responsibility for implementing them.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring actions relating to the handling of any non-compliance revealed by inspections, internal audits and external audits, taking the necessary investments into account.
• Update and complete Safety Data sheets, plus ergonomic and PPE assessments.
• Review and update Safety and Environmental work instructions.

• Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an environmental or occupational safety related field (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering) or recent graduate (April/May 2025) of one of these programs.
• Preferably completed classes in equipment lockout/tagout, chemical safety, and OSHA/EPA.

Full‑time internship for Summer 2026. Trainee/Internship, Site HSE.
