.

This is an on-site engineering leadership role responsible for managing the Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Services teams supporting all phases of production.

The Opportunity

You will lead a team responsible for qualifying and improving manufacturing processes across the product portfolio, supporting both local and international production facilities.

Working closely with Design Engineering, Operations and other cross-functional teams, you will drive improvements in manufacturability, productivity, quality and cost while supporting the introduction of new products into production.

What the Job Involves

  • Manage engineering activities relating to manufacturing processes and product changes
  • Support plant layout changes, material handling improvements and facility expansion projects
  • Lead capital equipment installation and manufacturing improvement initiatives
  • Analyse production processes and implement corrective actions where required
  • Promote continuous improvement across production and engineering operations

The role provides broad ownership across both the technical and people-management sides of manufacturing engineering, rather than being a purely hands-on individual contributor position.

We're Looking for Someone Who...
  • 5+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience
  • Strong knowledge of product design and manufacturing processes
  • Previous experience managing and developing engineering teams
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and production process improvements
  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Experience using manufacturing metrics to identify and drive improvements
  • Ability to manage multiple engineering projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and organisational skills
  • Commercial understanding with the ability to assess the cost/benefit of engineering projects

The position will require up to approximately 25% travel, including some international travel.

What Makes This Role Interesting
  • Leadership responsibility for both Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Services
  • Opportunity to influence manufacturing processes across the full product lifecycle
  • Direct involvement in NPI, process optimisation and production scalability
  • Ability to drive measurable improvements across quality, productivity and manufacturing cost
  • Exposure to both US and international manufacturing operations
  • Broad project scope including capital equipment, plant layout and facility improvements
  • Opportunity to develop and build a high-performing engineering team
  • Join an established global infrastructure business serving the rapidly growing data center market
