JOB SUMMARY
The Casino Surveillance Tech is responsible for actively monitoring the casino floor and associated areas using surveillance technology to ensure the security, compliance, and integrity of all gaming and non-gaming activities. This role involves identifying potential security threats, monitoring gaming operations, and assisting in investigations as required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include, but is not limited to the following)
* Utilize advanced surveillance equipment, including cameras and monitoring systems, to observe all areas of the casino in real-time
* Detect and document suspicious or unusual activities, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and internal policies
* Monitor gaming tables, slot machines, cash transactions, and other casino activities to prevent cheating, fraud, and unauthorized behavior
* Document and report any identified irregularities, suspicious activities, or security breaches to appropriate casino management and regulatory authorities
* Assist law enforcement and regulatory agencies in investigations by providing video evidence and insights when required
* Coordinate with security personnel to respond to incidents or emergencies promptly, ensuring the safety of guests and staff
* Handle sensitive information and surveillance data with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of surveillance activities, incidents, and observations
* Communicate effectively with casino management, security personnel, and regulatory bodies to address security concerns and provide updates
* Discover, maintain, and provide information to Security, Legal, and People department heads regarding potential criminal activity and/or activity that may cause risk or liability for the Company
* Ensure compliance with gaming regulations, company policies, and relevant laws to maintain a secure gaming environment.
* Maintain working knowledge of laws and regulations (and changes in such) impacting the Company's line of business and communicate this information to the appropriate parties, as required
* Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary

* Perform other job-related duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
* Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license
* Must be at least 21 years old
* The ability to read and recognize abnormal body language.
* The ability to maintain composure in a potentially stressful environment.
* The ability to successfully interact with all levels of team members and management.
* Must possess strong computer skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Gaming License
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position)
* Must be able to sit and stand at the console to operate cameras
* Must have the ability to communicate by telephone and radio
* Must have the ability to bend over and reach from the floor level to 7 feet in order to perform daily tape changes
* Able to lift up to ten (10) pounds on a regular basis
* Normal hearing and vision range are required. Regular, predictable attendance required
* Work is performed in areas that may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky or dimly lit

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech - both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
