ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Administer and direct all casino games, and supervise employees as well as hiring and terminating employment of said employees.
- Schedule staff to afford proper coverage levels.
- Make contact with the Purchasing department, Property Operations and outside vendors for consulting and creating purchase/work orders. Make contact with Nevada Gaming Control Board as necessary.
- Read, write, speak and understand the English language in order to complete reports, correspondence, review customer credit, complete internal/external transactions, and communicate with guests and fellow employees.
- Use a computer to perform player‑rating process, review credit/marker requests and to request a fill/credit, or to review remarks screen.
- Requires mental effort to determine winning/losing wagers, calculate bet payoffs, approve Casino credit, resolve disputes and employee/customer issues. Complete daily/monthly reports and card inventories.
- Must read game layout; wagers, winning/losing wagers, etc., and read computer monitor and reports for extended periods of time.
- Mentally perform mathematical operations quickly and accurately to approve payoffs, verify shift/player/table win/loss. Perform multiple tasks as necessary.
- Complete correspondence, employee discipline, employee evaluations, and department memos and communicate with superiors, guests and other employees. Revise procedures as it becomes necessary.
- Must read game layout; wagers, winning/losing wagers, etc., and read computer monitor and reports for extended periods of time.
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may have to work extended hours, and during periods of high customer volume.
- Contact Surveillance and/or Vice President of Casino Operations if questionable transactions have occurred and/or at appropriate win/loss levels.
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of all games in assigned section, both at the dealer and customer levels.
- Adhere to all game controls and procedures (as outlined in the dealer and supervisor department manual) and ensure subordinates comply with same.
- Enforce and ensure the accuracy of all regulation 6‑A requirements, and all State and Corporate gaming regulations.
- Mental perform mathematical operations quickly and accurately to approve payoffs and verify table win/loss.
- Comply with all State gaming rules and regulations.
- Candidate must have previous dealing experience; dealing school, or equivalent. Previous supervisory experience required.
- A qualified candidate will be able to provide a proven track record of success in executing each essential responsibility satisfactorily.
- Must be able to listen and respond to client and management inquiries in a positive and professional manner.
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Read, speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and fellow employees.
- Possess a strong attention to detail and engaging presentation skills.
- Can effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, clients, and general public.
- Accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure and calculate figures and amounts.
- Candidate must have strong mathematical abilities and skill.
- Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification. (Nevada Gaming Control Board Gaming work Permit)
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills are a must.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age with a current, gaming license.
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
