Hard/Soft Count Person is responsible for extracting, replacing, counting and reporting slot currency drops, currency and ticket exchanges from slot machines.
This position starts at 3:00 AM.
Duties- Count, sort and verify cash transactions.
- Process monetary transactions between gaming and the vault adhering to Nevada law and company policy.
- Extract slot currency cans from slot machines on the casino floor, replacing these with empty currency cans.
- Open currency cans.
- Separate money by box designation.
- Operate bar code scanner.
- Basic Data entry.
- Transcribe data for accounting reports.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming License.
- Minimum of one year of cash handling experience preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge preferred.
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs., bend and kneel.
