Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a Room Reservations Agent for the All-New J Resort
. The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. The J has a unique blend of original art, live music, bold flavors, luxurious accommodations, and exciting casino action…And we are just getting started!

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Answers all incoming calls requesting reservations and/or bookings for rooms, golf packages and show tickets. Verifies complete guest name and date of reservation.
- Answers inquiries over the telephone regarding casino promotions, entertainment events and hotel rates. Inputs all reservations for rooms, golf packages and show tickets into the computer system.
- Assists guests with special requests and provides information as needed.
- Coordinates with the Front Desk, VIP Services and Entertainment on availability of rooms, spaces, tickets, special promotions, etc.
- Checks expected arrival; reports to ensure that proper reservation procedures are being followed. Confirms tentative reservations of clients through telephone or email.
- Runs hotel occupancy report based on confirmed reservations daily. Logs the phone system off each night.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Fluent in English
- Previous experience in the Hotel/Hospitality Industry preferred
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
