Cashier - Cage​/Vault - Swing Shift

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, a premium casino and resort in Reno, Nevada, is seeking a Vault Cashier to accurately handle customer exchanges for chips, cash, and related transactions. The role involves verifying bankrolls, processing cash and checks, and ensuring compliance with gaming regulations.

• Provide financial services for guests including cashing personal, payroll, travelers, and cashier checks.
• Cash out chips, coin, TITO tickets, non‑negotiable chip coupons, special promotional coupons, race/sports tickets.
• Distribute and cash Atlantis Payroll checks.
• Pay jackpot tickets to Slot TMs.
• Process tax withholding and provide information for Title 31 compliance.
• Complete check cashing applications.
• Deliver excellent guest service while performing job duties such as standing, walking, using hands, climbing stairs, balancing, and lifting up to 45 pounds.
• Maintain vision abilities required for the job (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus).

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must register with the Gaming Control Board.
• Previous money handling/cashiering experience preferred.
• Basic math skills with knowledge of currency.
• Ability to operate calculators, computers, and money counters for cash and coin.
• Computer skills and ability to read and interpret Central Credit Information.
• Ability to analyze and detect counterfeit currency, IDs, and negotiable instruments.
• Money handling skills and accuracy.
• Must adhere to all appearance standards: no visible tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair colors.
