Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, hybrid(on-site 3 days per week) role based in Reno, NV for a Client Advisory Construction Controller
.
In this role, you will oversee the financial operations for multiple construction clients and serve as their primary point of contact. You are responsible for the accuracy of their financials, the quality of their reporting, and the reliability of the systems supporting it.
You will review and oversee accounting activity, identify and resolve issues, and ensure financial information is compliant and consistent. You will work directly with clients, build strong relationships, and provide clear explanations of what their numbers mean.
This role requires someone who can manage multiple clients, make sound judgment calls, and work independently within established processes. You are trusted to take ownership of your work and your client relationships.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and financial management
- Significant experience in construction controllership
- Able to manage multiple clients at the same time and switch priorities efficiently
- Experience in data analysis, financial reporting, and decision support
- Proficiency in creating and optimizing financial systems and operational workflows
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly
- Able to work well with a team internally and externally
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in accounting software and financial tools; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
