Job Overview

The Financial Analyst supports the FP&A Manager in meeting departmental goals and objectives, assists with developing workflows, policies, procedures, and internal controls, and maintains a complex financial model to analyze and evaluate financial and operational performance.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Hybrid Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid‑eligible position:
Monday–Wednesday in one of our offices (Reno, NV or Monterey, CA) and Thursday–Friday eligible for work‑from‑home.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, capital allocation, corporate finance, or related roles.
Financial & Analytical Skills
  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation techniques, including NPV, IRR, and discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis.
  • Strong understanding of capital allocation, corporate finance, and investment appraisal methodologies.
  • Ability to assess risk‑adjusted returns and scenario analysis to support decision‑making.
Technical & Tools Proficiency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VBA, macros, and complex formulas), PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools.
  • Experience with financial planning software, business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and ERP systems.
Business & Strategic Acumen
  • Understanding of key financial statements, cost of capital, and capital budgeting processes.
  • Ability to align financial strategy with corporate objectives and identify value creation opportunities.
  • Experience in P&C insurance, financial services, or strategic finance roles is a plus.
  • Strong ability to work cross‑functionally with finance, operations, and senior leadership to drive capital allocation decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Problem‑Solving & Decision‑Making
  • Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate investments and improve financial performance.
  • Ability to identify financial risks, propose mitigation strategies, and optimize resource allocation.
Salary Range

$68,008.36 – $ (base salary). The range may vary based on experience and location and is subject to additional compensation such as benefits and bonus programs.
