Role DescriptionMLOs sought in CA, NV and GA, as well as other states. Responsibilities include gathering and verifying documentation, analyzing credit and income, structuring suitable mortgage solutions, and coordinating with underwriting, processing, and closing teams. The role also includes maintaining regular communication with clients, responding to inquiries, providing status updates, and ensuring a positive borrower experience. Mortgage Consultants/Loan Officers are expected to stay informed about current lending guidelines, interest rates, and market conditions while meeting production and quality standards.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and Mortgages, with the ability to explain products and guidelines clearly to clients.
- Experience in Finance and Mortgage Lending, including assessing borrower profiles and structuring appropriate loan options.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, clear communication, and building long‑term client relationships.
- Active or eligible state mortgage loan originator license(s), including NMLS registration, as required by applicable regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time well, and handle multiple files and deadlines.
- Comfort with common mortgage software, CRM tools, and standard office applications.
- Prior experience as a loan officer, mortgage consultant, or similar role is preferred.
- High school diploma required; college coursework or degree in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
