The purpose of the IOP Behavioral Health Therapist is to provide high-quality intensive behavioral health treatment to patients struggling with mental health and/or substance use at Northern Nevada HOPES.

The Intensive Outpatient Program therapist promotes behavioral and mental health as an important dimension of overall wellness by providing high-quality individual and group therapy to HOPES patients during their participation in IOP. The IOP Therapist conducts substance use evaluations, biopsychosocial assessments, diagnosis and treatment planning, and consults with other team members as part of a cohesive multidisciplinary team, in alignment with a harm-reduction approach.
