RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM with 36 guaranteed weekly hours

• No call requirements

• Minimum 2 years of IMC/Stepdown experience required

• Medical/Neuro ICU experience preferred

• Must have experience with vasopressors, titratable drips, art lines, neuro-stepdown patients, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and trach management

• Required to pass an ECG/Telemetry exam including reading/interpreting rhythm strips - failure results in contract termination

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

• Nevada RN license required prior to start

• May be required to float to other units based on competency level

• Must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Eve + Day = 1 Holiday)

• Required to pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period

• May work weekends and holidays based on department needs

• Provide care for patients with severe but non-life threatening conditions requiring moderately complex assessments and interventions

• Care for patients with general medical conditions including post stroke, sepsis, cardiac, and respiratory issues

• Work in an 18-bed unit focused on moderate levels of nursing vigilance and interventions
