ObjectiveWC Health is seeking a responsible and professional Intake Specialist for our Psychiatric Urgent Facility to add to their team. We are hiring individuals that will be working hands‑on with our clients, primarily by linking them to resources and monitoring their progress as they come into our agency seeking the supportive services and programs WC Health offers. Looking for individuals to coordinate services including health care and monitoring sufficiency of services and goal attainment.
EssentialFunctions
- Manage administrative duties as a part of patient care services provided, including locating relevant care information, linking clients to appropriate services, and ensuring the rest of the agency has the communication they need to treat the patient.
- Coordinate services including health care and monitoring sufficiency of services and goal attainment via telephone, in-person and email/online platforms to ensure continuity of care.
- Greet clients seeking services either by appointment or crisis walk-in.
- Data-track and accurately enter information into the system.
- Strong organizational skills and problem‑solving techniques.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of Excel, Word and Google products.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to travel between clinic locations.
- Experience with Medicaid documentation with an electronic medical record is strongly preferred.
- Energetic, upbeat and positive attitude.
- Compassion towards vulnerable populations served routinely throughout agency.
Full-time
Education and Experience- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 1+ years experience in front office setting is required.
- Previous experience in healthcare setting such as medical clinic, hospital or other.
- Able to pass a pre-employment criminal background and drug test.
- Solid past employment history and verifiable references.
Must be able to pass a drug and background check.
