Join our esteemed team at PTS, a well-established Utah-based organization with a proud 30-year history, as we embark on a search for a dedicated Phlebotomy Instructor at our prestigious Reno location.

Position: Phlebotomy Instructor/Director

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
• Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions.
• Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
• Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
• Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable).
• Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
• Required reliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes.
• Required technology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc.
• Preferred EKG knowledge and work experience
• Required - Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

State Requirements:

• CURRENT Licensed Lab Assistant or Office Lab Assistant in the state of Nevada with a minimum of 2 years full time phlebotomy experience in the previous 5 years (venipuncture, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement), must provide a copy of license upon request
• Must be able to provide letters from previous employers indicating and describing the work or teaching responsibilities in detail and provide contact information to verify employment
• Hold no less than a high school diploma or GED
  AND have completed a program of instruction at a recognized school in Phlebotomy, must provide a copy of diploma or transcript upon request
• Two years of supervisory/management experience
• Instructors will be fingerprinted by the Nevada Commission per state regulations
